I love everything crafty, well maybe not everything.. I love retro, kitch craft... is there such a thing? I love unusual unique homewares nad funky 'things' to adorn my shelves....and funky things to give away to my family and friends. I appreciate all the labour of love put into every design and every minute detail. I believe everyone has a creative side to them...maybe I just haven't found mine yet.
So...the question is, how do I satisfy my fetish? I run and organise the upmarkets. A place where artists, designers, stylists, craftspeople and gourmets come together to launch their creations on our local community. I believe in promoting the value to our communities and our environment of buying intersting and wonderful handmade objects as opposed to mass produced objects. I see the importance of strong communities...support your local community...buy local from talented local creative types.
So...I am not creative in the true creative sense but....I absolutely adore quirky unique designs and want to assist creative people to launch themselves into their local communities and give them support and encouragement to give it a go, have the courage...you never know what might happen...
